About Me
Heather graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2015 with a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP). She is passionate about working with children and their families, and strongly believes in a family-centred approach. She is experienced working with children with a variety of different speech and language difficulties, including: social-communication difficulties, oral motor and feeding challenges, motor speech difficulties, and articulation and phonology delays. She has worked extensively with children with autism spectrum disorder, or other developmental delays.
Heather has lived in Ottawa most of her life, though spent some time in Kingston, ON while attending Queen's University, where she played for the varsity soccer team. When she's not working, Heather enjoys spending time with family, and friends, or relaxing at the cottage.
